Branding Tips for Bloggers

5 Branding Tips for Bloggers

Branding.

Isn’t that just for iconic businesses like Nike, McDonald’s and Google?

Nope.

Individual bloggers need to build recognizable blogging brands to stand out in a crowded niche.

Branding your blog powerfully increases your traffic and profits. In addition to these sugary sweet benefits, you also land more interviews on popular blogs by creating an eye-catching blogging brand.

Follow these 5 tips to powerfully brand your blog.

1: Write in Your Voice through Persistent Practice

The core element to creating a branded blog is to write in your authentic voice.

Your writing voice distinguishes you from every other blogger on earth.

Practice writing 1000 words – or more – daily in a Word document. Delete the document when you are done to detach some from your writing and to clean the slate for the following day’s practice.

Gain confidence and clarity in your writing. Stand out in your niche. Create an eye-catching, memorable brand by writing in your genuine voice.

Just like no two snowflakes are alike, no two bloggers are alike if each individual writes in their voice. The most direct way to write in your voice is through persistent, patient writing practice.

2. Align Your Blog Top Down

Align your blog top down to send a clear branding message to readers.

Inspect all elements from your domain name, to blog name, to blog tagline, all the way to the blog footer. Observe all pages, posts and sidebar elements.

Everything should align perfectly with your brand image to make your blog memorable.

Do not post advertisements, pages or posts nonresonant with your brand. Focus on clarity. Concentrate on alignment. Don’t do stuff just to make money. Keep your brand message in mind at all times.

3. Pay for a Premium Theme

Pay money for a premium theme.

Or hire a web designer to create a customized theme for your blog.

Branded blogs are one of a kind creation. If nobody else can replicate your blog design you can make an indelible impact on readers.

Pay up to play up.

Invest money in a professional-looking theme to craft a 1 of a kind, eye-popping brand. Presentation counts big-time in the blog branding game.

4. Pay for Premium Hosting

Proper branding involves buying premium hosting and paying for a branded domain name.

Convey a professional brand image by using dependable hosting. Speed up your blog. Reduce downtime to virtual nil.

Even if you brand your blog effectively in other areas you struggle when using low quality hosting because slow load times or frequent downtime reflects poorly on your brand.

Pay at least $10 USD a month or more for hosting. Buy a domain name to gain credibility.

The dollars you spend go a long way to building a professional blog and brand.

    Hi Ryan,

In order to differentiate you and your blog and create brand out of it, you have to be unique and pay attention do all the details that you notice when you visit someones else’s post. You have to show to your readers why you are different and why they should come back to your blog. Also, make your blog name and logo easy to remember, and readers will most probably come to you first when they look for some information within your niche.
