1 Precursor to Stunning Blogging Success

I just received an interesting email.

A blogger wanted me to copy and paste their guest post to a site where I have guest posting rights under my name.

I am not kidding.

Said blogger wished to leave links intact.

Does this sound crazy?

Of course it is.

Imagine me putting my reputation on the line to do a stranger a favor.

Most bloggers live completely in a delusional state, believing success finds lazy, unmotivated, de-energized bloggers.

These folks want to know how to become a successful blogger but often ignore proven, sound advice.

Think opposite; success finds diligent bloggers who learn how to blog and work persistently, backing their work with fun energy, until success flows to them.

The precursor to your stunning blogging success is years of loving, fun, persistent work.

Years of Work

Take my friend Alonzo Pichardo.

He spent a decade of his life helping people through persistent, hard work.

No delusion here folks. Just dedication.

Some of our video chats netted near 50,000 plays on YouTube. Between his tribe and my tribe we have reached a huge number of loyal followers through our videos.

How did we attract a huge number of loyal followers?

Through 10 years of persistent, usually enjoyable but sometimes tough work.

You cannot get success unless you give freely of your time and talents.

If you want stunning success be ready to give your life to blogging. What you offer freely multiplies over the long haul.

But unlike the person who contacted me you will never expect something for nothing and you will also put in the legwork necessary to build a thriving, successful blog.

Toss in some detachment from outcomes and you will be good to go.

Be….Become

I was BEing the person who retired to a life of island hopping through smart blogging years before I stepped on a plane that flew from New York City to Bali.

Lag time, folks.

You BE the person who succeeds when you are broke. Or you BE the person who succeeds when you have 3 visitors daily to your blog, as was my case a decade ago.

I still worked persistently, intelligently and from a kinda detached energy for years to live my dreams now and to inspire folks to live their dreams.

You BE the person by:

  • Guest posting on top blogs in your niche
  • Writing 1000 words daily in a Word document for practice
  • Generously promoting top bloggers in your niche
  • Fulfilling interview requests
  • Posting helpful posts regularly to your blog

Stick to each activity for months. Then years.

Gradually, as you keeping being the person despite seeing few or no results, you gradually become the person.

Passive income once seemed impossible to earn. Now you receive steadily royalty payments from Amazon every month.

Clients flow in.

Traffic grows.

Your overall blogging income increases steadily, then exponentially.

All because you had fun, working persistently and intelligently despite seeing little growth on your blog for months.

Bumpy Journey Sometimes

Guys, if being a pro blogger were a comfortable, smooth journey, millions upon millions of people would be pro bloggers. Few stomach the queasy feelings of working persistently, intelligently and energetically only to see scant results.

This holds true in all walks of life. Successes had to weather the storms, learning their craft, practicing their gig, before really hitting it big. Business. Sports. Offline. Online. You see it again and again.

Facing your fears is not always pleasant but necessary to become a super duper successful blogger.

If you detach just a bit more from outcomes and focus on following your passion, not profits, you will feel love and harmony versus predominantly feeling fear and loss, as most bloggers do.

You can and will become a stunningly successful blogger.

Love the process.

Follow your fun.

I believe in you.
