Do You Scare Off Blogging Business by Chasing it?

Someone just emailed me a spam job. He promised me big riches. But I never signed up for his email list. He used a scraping service to collect my email information, added my email to his list and sent me an email, assuming because I was a human being with email that I wanted to sign up for his business.

This unintelligent approach seems common online. I labelled his email spam and moved on. But scanning my spam folder, I see he already sent 2 emails over the past 2 days finding my spam folder. Imagine that? He sent so many emails users labeled as spam that his email address got blacklisted in one business day. Wow.

Good luck trying to make money online if every single one of your emails goes to spam. No one takes spam seriously. Barely anyone reads spam. Even worse? No one trusts spam emails. Good luck getting people to trust you enough to buy your stuff, to hire you or to join your team if someone meets you in the spam folder…..if the person even checks their spam, at all.

Most bloggers scare off blogging business because most human beings chase business. Human beings fear losing money. Fearing money loss goads you to do stupid stuff. Spamming is the height of stupidity. Desperately chasing down people to manipulate them – by brute force – into giving you money is stupid. Why would someone buy your stuff or hire you because you attempted to FORCE them to buy your stuff or hire you with 3 spam emails daily?

Chasing business is like chasing chickens; business runs away, and chickens run away, too. Stop scaring off blogging business by stalking customers and clients from a heavy energy of fear. Do the exact opposite; build something attractive, beneficial and special so business comes to you.

Observe me guest posting on World Writers Hub. I share a valuable blog post, here. I build something special here, something attractive, beneficial and helpful. You enjoy my blogging advice, come across this eBook I promote:

….and buy the eBook because you trust my free advice. Trusting my free advice inspires you to trust my premium advice. You get a helpful eBook. I make a sale. I boost my blogging business by allowing YOU to come to ME. I chase no one. I attract business. But attracting business does not involve writing and publishing one guest post. Attracting blogging business involves writing and publishing blog posts and guest posts over years of your life.

Be a generous servant. Help people for free to gain skills, exposure and credibility enough to help people for pay. Build it generously, from a targeted frame of mind, and they will come. Business flows to bloggers who attract business from a posturing, confident, trusting energy. Business runs away from desperate bloggers who desperately chase down readers, prospective clients and prospective customers.

Hey; blogging feels uncomfortable during the business-building process because you fear losing money by not chasing money, by not hustling after clients and by not stalking customers. Writing and publishing blog posts and guest posts feels scary because you work for free, for a while, before business flows to you.

Welcome to laying the foundation for a thriving, ever-expanding, professional blogging career. Be generous. Build authority. Have posture. Help people for free for a long time. Build up your presence to such a degree that blogging business flows to you.

Build your online real estate generously through blogging and guest posting. Be patient. Be persistent. Eventually, life becomes writing and publishing content and observing your blogging profits grow. But it takes quite a while and quite a bit of work to allow this reality to unfold.
