Adding Spice to Your Life, to Live Happier and Peacefully

If you want to learn how to add more spice to your life and live your dreams you’ll discover how I was able to do it, and how you can too. All for free, you’ll be able to live happier and peacefully.

My Story

Growing up was a great experience for me. I had everything the average child has and I was happy. I finished primary and then secondary school, but something happened.

During my high school days, I noticed something strange. Everyone I knew personally, everyone around me seemed to be held bound by something.

You know, everybody’s life was below average. All people wanted to do was grow, go to school, get a job, get married, birth babes and then grow old.

It was a vicious cycle, and most people just kept revolving around it. There was nothing to spice up their lives, or maybe they didn’t try to find out.

I saw many of them wear long and non-smiling faces. I didn’t want my life being like that. I wanted to make changes but couldn’t. I was in high school when the journey to changing my own life began.

Somehow, I began to learn and understand universal laws and truths. I began to see the awesomeness of positivity. I began to learn so many things which are capable of transforming my life “from a boring life to an interesting one.”

I didn’t learn them as subjects or courses in school. I learned then during my own search and study for lasting happiness. My life began to change gradually. Life began to unveil itself and I started learning a whole lot of things. Even though my life isn’t perfect yet, I’m constantly on the move and I’ve been growing happy.

Today, I want to share with you a few things you can do to add spice to your life, to live happier and to live peacefully.

How I Changed My Life And How You Too Can

It might be difficult to persist now, but if you do, you’ll thank me later.

Personal Investment, Over Everything

I see people want to do investments, so they put their money into different businesses so that their money works and earns more money for them. Those kinds are great, but the best kind of investment is the investment you make in yourself.

That’s personal investment.

It is your personal duty to invest in you, and make you a gold mine.

How do you invest in yourself?

Investing My Money on Me

When it comes to using the money for yourself, you either spend or invest it. There are people who only spend money on themselves. They probably haven’t thought of investing money in themselves.

The difference is clear. When you spend your money, you buy things that aren’t really useful. Or, sometimes they’re useful but they don’t contribute to the positive development of your mind.

So, spending your money only makes you look better outside.

When you invest your money on you by attending classes, reading good books, listening to podcasts, watching great videos and life-changing movies, then, you’ll develop your mind, you’ll become wiser.

You’ll become transformed. You’ll know better and success will be drawn to you. You’ll even become uncomfortable with your current position, with where you are and you’ll want to stretch yourself out of average and mediocrity. You’ll strive for excellence and you’ll achieve greatness.

Proper Investment of My Time

What are you spending your time on? You can still either spend or invest your time.

Successful people invest a fraction of their time every day to do things that’ll take them to their ultimate goal.

How do you spend your 24hrs? I’m talking to me too here because I just realized I haven’t really been investing my time for some time.

What’s your ultimate goal, the big picture? What are you doing now, every day, to get there?

You can spend your time on many things but let there be that fraction of the time, maybe 10, 30, 60 or even 120 minutes set aside for investment.

Doing this isn’t always easy. It sometimes requires that you stop doing something or things just to invest your time.

You might have to reduce the time you spend with friends that are not big dreamers as you. You may have to reduce the amount of time you spend on your TV.

You can make movie watching just once a week, yeah, you can. There’s a price for greatness remember? Nothing comes on a platter of Gold. You have to show that you’re deserving first.

Find time to do those little things that are capable of taking you to your big greatness. Always invest your time because proper investments lead to bigger deals unlike when you began your journey to excellence.

Investing in My Own Energy

I don’t mean physical strength here. I’m referring to emotional energy.

Our emotions have a way of controlling our actions and activities if we let it. If you have some sort of emotional breakdown, consequently, there will be a breakdown in your energy flow. You will begin to feel weak and unable to do things. That’s the how strong our emotions can be.

Investing your energy here means that you’re able to do the right things. Not just the right thing but the needful thing at a particular time.

Learning to use our energy well is just a way of investing it.  Instead of sitting in front of the TV all day, why not invest that energy by developing your mind through a book.

Instead of roaming around the internet without an aim, why not read meaningful blog posts? Why not learn to feed your mind with the right contents it needs for its survival?

I congratulate you because you’re reading one of those blog posts you need right now.

Instead of spending your energy engaging in meaningless conversations with friends or even family members that aren’t going the same way as you, you can meditate and engage your mind in silence, renewing your mind by observing peace, serenity, and tranquility.

Hey, just make sure every single thing you’re doing or will do has a way of leading you to the big picture. My life began to change when I started investing my resources.

I didn’t get to write you this beautiful peace just because I picked my pen.

Naa!  I had made sacrifices, I have been in the business of investing. I’ve continuously invested money, time and energy. Even writing this post isn’t child’s play.

I have to complete this article so you can read, and I’m even writing from the car, on my way home.

One thing is, investment requires sacrifice.  If you can’t give up certain not so important things, you won’t be able to do the things that are really important.

Another thing I’ve done to change my life from where it was to where I want it to be is what I want to talk to you about next.

Taking Calculative Risks

You can’t possibly make strides and change your life if you aren’t a risk taker. The good side of risk-taking is, even If you fail, you’ll learn strategies that didn’t work and you’ll become a better risk taker the next time you try.

Stop being afraid, go out and spread your wings. Make your fears afraid of you. Just do it, and do it with a positive mindset.

If you break through, great. If you don’t, be happy you tried doing something out of the box. After all, it’s better to fail at something than succeed at nothing.

Go On, Fight and Win

If you start investing your time, money and energy from today, you’ll begin to experience a change in your personal life.

Risk taking will help you to unleash your potentials. You’ll begin to see a new you because you’ll start doing things you never thought you could do.

You’ll become your own hero and you’ll love you more.
