Today 5 Pro Blogging Tips for Blog Traffic Generation

Quality contents are not just posts you think that has more perceived value.

It could be, in some cases.

But, Google and other search engines grade quality contents as one that has many sites (especially sites with high DA and PA) linking to the website/blog and the posts as well.

Consistency is the king and value creation the queen, in blogging.

Blogging is actually very easy. The hardest part is setting it up but I’ve fully explained it on this blog post.

The truth of the whole is that if you are able to write emails, then you are also able to run a blog.

Blog topics may be an issue you have with blogging. You need not worry because with these free blog title generators you can have your post rank #1 in Google.

Having a blog will surely make you a better person. I am a living witness!

This is because blogging obviously improves your writing skills as well as communication skills. Blogging makes you start thinking more intentionally about who you are now and who you want to become.

You can spread your information and knowledge through blogging. You may need these special blogging skills to become successful.

Blogging is more of helping other people with specific problems – giving a trusted solution. Let’s say you have blogged about “relationships”.

There are many women out there who are looking for solutions to live happily, raise up their children with their spouse and get off being divorced (for those who are!).

Your knowledge or advice could be essential and very helpful.

You must have been heard or seen people who are making a lot of money by just blogging.

Blogging moves from raising money for a business to being in real business.

Blogging is a personal, down-to-earth method of keeping your customers informed and in-the-know about not only your latest product offerings but your internal culture as well.

Well, today’s post isn’t just about how you can make money blogging.

I will be discussing five proven strategies to get blog traffic to that blog (new and old).

If you do it right, you could be on to something.

Just because you’re writing every day on a blog doesn’t mean your traffic will skyrocket – yes, like a star flash (heck, I don’t think there’s something as that… LOL!)

For instance, from 100 daily views to 100K. Are you serious? It doesn’t happen that way!

Blogging is an activity that can literally happen anywhere. You wake up early, go to bed late, whatever – blogging doesn’t usually involve spending long hours writing, and you can press pause whenever you like.

You can get things done if you want to. The mentality to “get things done” happens as you start writing that first sentence–you’ll find yourself energized, and motivated by the words you’re writing.

For those who lack the motivation to write, you can check the amazing motivation tips to stay motivated to write.

Like, right now. You will never regret doing that.

Now, back to the reason why this post is coming up now (and, for those who will join the reading chain later, you are welcome to my blog!)

I’ll be sharing five everyday blogging tips every blogger needs to generate repeated traffic to his/her blog.

The truth is that active people tend to have less time to sit on Facebook or any other social “chat-room”.

The new revolution is owning (or contributing) to a blog which is a means through which you to keep in touch with your friends, colleagues, and relatives.

1. Creating good quality relationships

Bloggers need good content. By being a good guest blogger and adding value to someone else’s blog, you’re going to build relationships with other bloggers.

Building good relationships isn’t all about guest posting, you can place an engaging comments on the post of other bloggers, too.

Don’t place comments like: that’s right, nice post, good article and the brothers. Nobody needs it.

Why bloggers may never publish such comments could be because they think the poster didn’t a. read the post and b. they want backlinks.

By creating a good relationship with other bloggers through regular post commenting, you’re going to grow your influence in the realm of social media, which will ultimately lead to more blog subscribers (and, if you have a productmore sales too).

2. Guest Post on blogs with high PA and DA

Regular blog posting gives visitors a reason to keep coming back to your blog. Sometimes, you need to get off your blog to add value (and earn readership) to other blogs.

This is done by guest posting or guest blogging.

“Guest posting” means writing and publishing an article on someone else’s website or blog.

If you are a blogger you may want to check out this list of bloggers that accept guest post offers.

In guest blogging, getting to know your target blog’s content is key.

Don’t settle for less.

Guest posting on other blogs can help you grow your online presence.

If you have access to tools like Open Site Explorer, you can look at the backlinks of your competitors and spot any blogs they have written for.

If you don’t, you can do a Google search for link:domain.com – domain.com “guest post” (replacing domain.com with your competitor’s domain) which should reveal sites that a competitor has written for.

On finding the sites to write for visit their write for us page and know the right contents they want from their guests for their readers.

If you pick an interest, go for it. Remember, don’t write for just backlinks, write to add value.

The PA and DA added is the sub-title is known as Page Authority and Domain Authority, respectively.

3. Engaging in Roundup Posts

/blog/2017/04/15/15-experts-reveal-the-secret-to-write-effectively-as-an-entrepreneur-expert-roundup/

But what’s the secret behind those fantastic popular posts? What’s the writer/blogger doing that you’re not? After all, your content is just as good or better, but your results are embarrassing in comparison.

This is the part you are missing.

Certain types of content are more likely to be shared than others.

In April of this year, I published this roundup asking bloggers their best writing tips to remain relevant during their writing career and they did.

Being a part of roundup posts allows you to enter an already-established community, and share your message and/or idea.

It allows you to connect with new people, which can ultimately benefit you, if you do it right.

If you’re adding value to the discussion, you’re going to see that convert over time to more readers, fans, and followers while the click on your blog link attached to the contribution you made.

Participating in a roundup post allows the relationship you’ve developed with the host blogger to be mutual and stick.

Finding the experts to engage with isn’t that difficult. You can follow this step by step guide to learn how to engage experts for roundup posts.

The experts that participate in your blog post roundup can send traffic directly to your post by sharing it with their (often huge) social followings.

4. Social Media and Online Advertising

If you had a five-page website but added a blog post once every two weeks for a year, you’d have five times more chances of being found.

Keep that up for a few years and you could have a hundred pages working to boost your traffic.

Social Media Examiner reported more than 70 percent of companies across 104 industries have seen an organic reach on the Facebook decline of more than 30 percent in the past year.

Social media advertising gives you the ability to target and retarget ideal prospects.

Retargeting will serve ads based on prior engagement, enabling you to identify your ideal customer profile.

With over 1.9 billion monthly users on Facebook and other Social Media platform, you can generate huge traffic to that five or more page website.

Advertising can be used to drive traffic to your site and build brand awareness. Effectively targeted campaigns can create brand influencers and reach complementary audiences.

Your customers, competitors, and prospects are online — give them the attention they deserve, while getting more out of your budget.

Before you start any campaign make sure you know what your readers look like.

Once you know what they look like, you will know just who to target and where to find all similar users online, making sure they too are being served your ads.

As bloggers, being effective requires staying in front of your readers; as it turns out, your readers are online, so you should be too, and sooner rather than later.

Advertising online gives you access to a global audience, if you so desire, and it means your ads can be working for you 24 hours a day.

5. Sponsored posts (free and premium) offers

If the big gun of social media reach is waning, what’s next? Should we revert back to banner ads?

Research shows Internet users are 280 times more likely to climb Mount Everest than to click on a banner ad.

The truth is that you are not the first blogger and will not be the last on the blogosphere.

There are top blogs with a huge following and large social engagement who has existed and still progressing on the platform they created.

Some of these blogs do not offer free guest posts on their site.

You are to check their write for us page to see the many ways you can reach them and send your post pitch.

Bloggers using social media to build their brand, reach out to the community, or share important news are in most cases amazed at the results they get.

Blogging drives every other form of online marketing. It is the light at the end of the algorithmically rigged tunnel. It’s the last platform that allows you to create content and attract readers without the intrusion of third-party algorithms or apps.

Even while you work on the steps above don’t neglect to add share buttons to blog, sharing post after publishing on Social Media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and more, optimizing blog posts, commenting (and sharing) other bloggers post and submitting your blog to directories.

Conclusion

Over time, these backlinks will raise the value of your blog to search engines, making your content easier to find via Google, Bing, Yahoo, and others.

While advertising don’t forget that a successful social media campaign is fueled by content.

Remember that interesting content is a top reason people follow bloggers on social media.

  • Hi Prince,

Great tips for helping bloggers get more traffic.

I’ve been using some of these tips that you mention to help me get the word out about my blog. It definitely takes a lot of work, but no one ever said that growing a blog was easy.

I’ve found that when I actually take the time to comment on other blogger’s blogs and leave valuable comments, it’s helped me get to know the blogger better.

In turn, this may eventually lead to a guest posting opportunity.

You’re right, you have to get off your blog and get out there so other bloggers get to know you.

Thanks for sharing these tips have a great day 🙂

  • Can you please explain exactly what is PA and DA.

    • Hello, Anand

PA stands for Page Authority and DA – Domain Authority.

Page authority is an SEO term used to describe the probability that a specific page from your site will be found on a search engine. Page authority is based on a logarithmic scale from 0 to 100 and deals with the relevance of information and links within site pages to one another.

While Domain Authority is a measure of the power of a domain name and is one of many search engine ranking factors. Domain authority is based on three factors: Age, Popularity, and Size. SEO gurus Moz can be credited with the metric known as DA or domain authority.

I hope this helps. Thank you.
