Why Would You Engage in Wasted Blogging Motion?

Imagine getting an email from someone you had not heard from in years. He seemed like a total stranger to you. Heck; he was a total stranger from you. No contact. No trust. No connection.

Perhaps you chatted a few times years ago. But you spoke to thousands of people between the last time you talked to him and now. Speaking to thousands of folks over he years, you totally forget the guy. No bond.

He asks how you are doing then proceeds to pitch you on his consulting service scaling to millions of dollars. No doubt, he seems to be successful. But if he has not spoken to you in years and the sum total of your chats lasted for perhaps 60 seconds, how can he actually, confidently, honestly and genuinely know how to improve your business? He has no idea who you are. He does not know you. He did not build a bond with you. How can he know what business works best for you?

The individual seems to be successful but also engages in wasted blogging motion. He wastes his time trying to convert a non-targeted, cold, completely uninterested lead with an approach similar to having the posture of an earth worm negligent of its core exercises.

Why Waste Energy?

Anytime you reach out to strangers pitching your blogging business you waste motion because you have no idea if the stranger actually wants what you have to offer. How can you know a stranger’s wants? You have no idea:

  • who they are
  • what they value
  • what they treasure

Someone kind enough just messaged me the Message seen above. Nice enough guy. But he feels like a stranger to me because we have not spoken in years. Plus we only chatted for a few moments, anyway.

Why would he be confident that after years of no contact that he knows how to improve my business? He assumes too much. He is a stranger I do not trust because strangers need to earn my trust over a long time. Plus he attempts to gain credibility by quoting big dollar numbers. He DEFINITELY has no idea:

  • who I am
  • what I value
  • what I love
  • what turns me off

So a stranger tells me he knows how to improve my business – having no clue what I do and who I am – using the exact income claim strategy that 100% guarantees that I block him? Does this sound:

  • effective?
  • efficient?
  • prospering?
  • profitable?

He may be a millionaire but he’s wasting time and energy trying to sell steaks to vegetarians with his impatient approach. He is not an efficient, effective millionaire because he wastes WAY too much motion and energy to scale effectively.
