What the heck do people love?
Everyone wants to create viral content, but most people fail.
That’s because they don’t pay attention to the sites that successfully create viral posts, day in and day out.
One of the most-often-repeated proven piece of advice for growing a readership and successful blog is to leave thoughtful comments on blogs in your niche.
Quora is one of a good place in the web to figure out what my audience is passionate about.
This is what I do: type my primary keyword into the search box and hit enter to get a list of people’s most pressing questions and concerns.
Doing this can help you discover what your audience wants.
For you to engineer a viral post, you need to find out what makes other posts successful.
All you need to do is type your primary keyword into the homepage search box and hit search.
In this post, I will be sharing with you the 3 L’s to Successful Blogging.
As a businessperson, there have been plenty of times when I didn’t have enough money to make something happen, but I could exercise influence and shift the outcome in my direction.
This is it.
1. Listen
Everyone wants to be liked and accepted. So when people say “no” to your opinions, its resonant in the relationship. The word ‘no’ creates a psychic boom. Someone may never submit that your content is of great value.
It could be that after reading a piece by you the reader tagged the thought incomplete.
People’s understanding differs and it may seem as criticism to you but in the positive, depending on how the comment is being submitted. You are not to feel hurt. Instead, place your ears on the ground and listen to know the sense made through the response.
Understand that you are here to build relevant relationships. The one who seems to be a downcast to you maybe your next customer.
Be smart. Listen. Do.
2. Look
Think of blogging like the restaurant business: Just because there are a lot of restaurants doesn’t mean that they are all good or that you shouldn’t open one of your own.
This is far from what you think.
People who want to open a blog or wish to be a world-class blogger look around and say, “I can do this better.” That’s the mindset you should have about your blog to become successful and drive more sales.
The best way to build a dedicated audience for any blog is to carefully and clearly define its target audience right from the start, and then create an engaging content that caters to that audience.
Walking on this path helps to make promoting the blog easier and as well boost the blog growth.
3. Learn
Even Bill Gates of Microsoft strive to learn every day.
Do and see it as a responsibility to research how other bloggers and website operators are presenting similar information, and then curate creative ways to stand out, do it better and in a more unique and memorable way.
I learn every day, and, I hope you do too. It will take some time to build an audience in the hundreds of thousands or millions. But, your strive to learn every day will get you there as soon as possible.
Learn, learn and learn enough. Always convey a professional image, regardless of the subject or your audience. The look and overall design of your blog should be professional, and easy to read and understand. You are what makes your blog different. It’s about your perspective, your creativity, the value that you add.
Wow Post Prince.
Becoming successful as a blogger requires these three things you mentioned here.
Target Audience should be the first thought of any to-be blogger because its where your contents lies!
Learning never stops too!
Great Post once more, I’d sure share this with others.
Hi Prosper,
If every blogger can listen well, look and learn, then, there are some things we wouldn’t see as stress.
Blogging is about learning and applying.
Thanks for the share, man!
Hi Prince,
I do try to follow these 3 L’s. Great suggestions!
The one I keep forgetting is to try to beat the competition. I know to do it, I tell my readers to do it, but I forget! As I enter my 4th year of blogging I will try to remember. Thanks for the reminder.
Janice
It’s a great honor to have you here, Janice. The 3L’s as mentioned in the post can be a daunting task to follow for some bloggers. However, it is a must-do; we need to do it.
On entering the 4th year of your blogging career… Congrats!
I celebrate the courage to have stayed up until now. Blogging is like a business, a life time commitment. We blog it, live it, and alas celebrate it. Congrats again, Janice.
Have a great day 🙂
