You’ve been in a lot of mess, I know.
I want you to know that self-confidence is all about ACCEPTING yourself. Accepting the fact that most things are learnable and, if you are willing, you can be a master of any chosen area of your focus.
It’s also about NOT blaming yourself for being uneducated, ignorant, less than perfect. It’s about accepting that learning itself is a ‘life skill’ and you are the eternal student of the Life University.
Many people wonder how they can become highly successful writers, not realizing that they hold within them everything they need to achieve all of the success they desire.
Successful writers are where they are today because of the writing habits they developed over time.
If you watch clearly you will discover that habits determine 95% of a person’s behavior. Everything that you are today, and everything that you will ever accomplish, is determined by the quality of the habits that you form even as a writepreneur. By creating good habits and adopting a positive behavioral pattern, you too can become successful and live a prosperous life as a writer.
For thousands of years, successful writing has been studied by great thinkers and philosophers. I have personally studied the subject for a few years now. What I have found is that the very best writers have developed sane mindsets towards achieving that which they cherish.
I have identified several writing guides that you need to develop and build your confidence if you want to perform well and be the best at writing. It is the matter of time. Don’t worry about starting – just start and keep the ball rolling.
1. Set your writing goals
The first step to building confidence as a writer is to become goal oriented. You need to be a habitual goal setter, and dedicate yourself to writing from clear, written goals every day of your life. All highly successful writers are intensely goal oriented individuals. They know exactly what they want, they have it written down, they have written plans to accomplish it, and they both review and work on their plans every single day.
2. Be and remain positive
The second step to building confidence as a successful writer is to be and remain positive to uplevel your your height of confidence. Be every optimistic no matter the challenges.
How CAN you be and remain positive?
- The first is to practice continuously learning so that you become better at writing.
- The second is to practice proper time management. This means setting very clear priorities on what to write and how to go about it.
Start with the first one and follow the second step. Now, repeat the first and second until you gain mastery.
3. Take massive action
This is really the most important habit for material success. It is the ability to get on with the job and get it done fast. It is your ability to develop and maintain a sense of urgency, and a bias for action. Fast tempo in whatever you do is essential to your success.
You need to overcome procrastination, push aside your fears and launch 100% toward the achievement of your most important goals. The combination of goal orientation, result orientation and action orientation, in themselves, will virtually assure great success.
4. Consider your readers
This is where you put relationships in the center of your life. This is your decision to cultivate within yourself the conduct of patience, kindness, compassion, and understanding while writing. Virtually all of your happiness in life will come from your ability to get along well with other people.
The good news is that you can become an awesome fellow in your relationships with others when you decide to.
As Aristotle said, the only way that you can learn any habit is by practicing it on a regular basis. The more you practice being a truly excellent person in your relationships with others, the more you will internalize those qualities and actually become that person.
5. Your diet should be balanced
For you to be successful at writing you need to take good care of what you eat. Know what you should eat, while you are eating it and when to eat it. There are meals you shouldn’t consider eating while you are ready to write.
This simply means that you must fastidiously watch your diet, and always eat the right foods in the right portions. You must exercise on a regular basis, continually using every muscle and joint of your body to keep it limber and fit. And finally, you must have rest to double your wellness performance and recreation that will enable you, in combination with diet and exercise, to live out your years in a healthy state.
6. Build your integrity grid – be honest
The character you develop as you go through your writing career is more important than virtually anything else.
This attitude of honesty is critical to your enjoying all of the other good habits that you are developing.
7. Discipline you to write
One of the attributes of a great writer is self-discipline. He is very conscious of that and never jokes with it at all. He value himself just as he value the lives if his fellowers.
Your ability to discipline yourself, to master yourself, to control yourself, is the most important single quality that you can develop as a writer. The attribute of self-discipline goes hand in hand with your success as a writer.
Every one of steps listed above can be followed and developed with the might of being consistent. You are where you are and what you are today because of your habits. Your writing ability have been developing, mostly accidentally, from the time you were an infant.
Today you can take complete control over the shaping of your character and personality, and everything that happens to you in the future, by making the decision, right now, to define and develop the right writing skills that will lead you to great success as a writer. And, when you follow the list above step-by-step you will become successful as a writer. Your future will become unlimited!
