Successful bloggers publish value. Pro bloggers help people with valued content to build foundations for successful careers.
But for odd reasons, most bloggers move in the opposite direction. Most bloggers do not publish value. Even worse; bloggers do things like spamming fellow bloggers. I check out the spam queue before writing my daily guest post on World Writers Hub. Most comments are spam comments. Most bloggers offer value-less, silly, spammy comments solely designed to advertise their business. Fools link to business sites via comments fields, guaranteeing entry into spam folders. Other less foolish – but still foolish – bloggers publish a generic, 1 line comment. Nice post. That silliness. Said 1 line comment drive by’s still find the spam folder mostly, but rarely if ever get published.
Bloggers run away from value-less bloggers. Bloggers walk toward value-based bloggers. Peep my guest posts. I intend to publish value every time I stop by to write a guest post. Readers get to know me via my guest posts because I intend to publish value every time out. Value makes bloggers attractive. Value draws in loyal readers. Value gains trust. Value turns customers into long term customers. Value turns readers into customers and clients. Value makes it all happen because value-added bloggers earn the powerful currency of trust.
How much value do you publish every single day? No need to publish 1 blog post daily, but at least publish a short, sweet, helpful tweet daily. Or publish a helpful Facebook post one day, a helpful tweet the following day, then an insightful guest post on the following day. Value attracts success.
Observe your blogging ways. Do you try to get something for nothing? Check out the spamming bloggers I note every time I observe the spam queue here. Many bloggers spam without being aware of spamming bloggers. Other bloggers knowingly spam other bloggers without realizing how in doing so they repel virtually all other bloggers and potential readers. No one knows how many opportunities you lose by bringing no value to the table, but guaranteed, you sure ain’t building a rock solid foundation for your blogging campaign on little to no value.
Stop trying to get something for nothing. Stop trying to get rich quickly. Stop making the silly error of trying to rush or force blogging success. 100% of the time, failure awaits you. No one gets the wool pulled over their eyes, these days. Readers are too sophisticated. Stop wasting your time. Learn the skill of blogging. Patiently, persistently and generously learn how to blog, write regularly and begin building bonds genuinely with top bloggers in your niche. No one succeeds overnight. Value takes a while to mine and share with your readers because value responds to practice. It takes a while to practice enough to become a skilled value-provider.
Follow pros. Pro bloggers teach you how to publish value through their shining example. Never get caught up in imagined value-leaden word counts. Whether 600 or 1500 words, the post message matters most. I solved a pressing problem in 600 words via this guest post. Bloggers struggling like heck by spamming or trying to get by on slim value now know; value is the way to go. At least if you intend to become a professional blogger.
